OUR RANGE OF NATURAL FIBRE YARNS

Natural Fibre Yarns, also known as vegetable or cellulose fibres, have been used in packings longer than man-made fibres.

The chief advantage of natural fibre yarns is their low cost. They can be used in mildly acid and caustic applications and are generally lubricated with either PTFE or graphite.

Flax fibers are particularly resistant to water rot and highly suited for use in sea water applications such as stern tubes. They also have good abrasion resistance and are therefore well suited for use on slurry applications.

K2168 - Graphite Lubricated
